Stanley Kapuchinski, MD
While at Fordham University for his undergrad training, Dr. Kapuchinski spent a year studying at The Sorbonne in Paris, France. After doing research under a National Institute of Health Fellowship, he attended St. Louis University Medical School. Receiving his M.D., Dr. Kapuchinski trained as a medical intern at Boston University Medical Center and went on for psychiatric training at The Institute of Living. Upon completing his military service as a major in the USAF, he began private practice. Dr. Kapuchinski is board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology and has served as a consultant to a variety of institutions and international corporations.
He has worked as a Special Consultant in Australia and is a published author of a book on people with personality disorders. Along with general psychiatry, Dr. Kapuchinski has special interests in Attention Deficit Disorder and Anxiety Disorders including OCD and Panic Disorder. Dr. Kapuchinski is also certified to treat opiate addiction with Suboxone. He lives and maintains his psychiatric practice in Punta Gorda, FL.
Joan E. Flynn, LCSW
Joan Flynn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently working as a psychotherapist. Originally from the Boston area, Joan is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Boston and received her MSW from Salem State College of Social Work in Salem, MA. Joan spent 20 years working in the Massachusetts Mental Health System including inpatient, outpatient, and residential services. She moved to Punta Gorda in 2004 and has been part of the Harborside Psychiatric Services network of providers since 2006. Joan is well known for her dedication to her work and her willingness to invest extra time and effort to provide quality services. Joan has three grown children and currently enjoys living in beautiful Punta Gorda with her husband Tim and their dog Andy.
Jill Husson Martinez, MD
Dr. Martinez received her Bachelor of Science degree in molecular genetics from the University of Vermont and then earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College in 2009. She completed her psychiatric residency training at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Centers, then an affiliate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, in New York City. Prior to relocating to Florida, she worked as an emergency room psychiatrist at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Centers and as an integrative care psychiatrist in the Internal Medicine clinic at Montefiore Medical Center. Her areas of interest include addictions treatment, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for psychosis, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She is board certified in psychiatry.
Jodi Walls, MA LMHC ACS
Jodi Walls received her Master's degree in counseling education from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2003, became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in 2007, and is an Approved Clinical Supervisor. She has been in practice for over 10 years with experience in crisis stabilization, substance abuse and anger management, and working with the HIV positive community. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), individual, marriage and family counseling with an interest in substance abuse, mood disorder, and personality disorder treatment.
